As soon as she saw the ice cream cake box, she realised that it is her birthday!  Immediately, she asked for her presents! Oh so impatient!  In any case, we couldn’t delay too much as the cake was melting fast!  That’s what happens when you get ice cream cake!

Her actual birthday is next week but we decide to celebrate today rather than next weekend. She is now happily playing with her little ponies but who knows how long the novelty will last!  It gets harder and harder to buy presents for them now.

Well, it’s about time I update my website.  I was getting tired of the old template as the vertical images are all left aligned which seems to annoy me and I don’t always have or want two vertical images together.  I would have switched sooner but my “holiday” kind of interrupted things a little bit.  [...]

Well, we survived the dinner.  I wish I wasn’t so tired but I was just ready to crash as were my hubby and the girls.  I think we just fell asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillow!  Thank goodness we weren’t expected at my parents’ house until after 1pm the next day.

Last week we celebrated another birthday.  We say it all the time but it is true that time flies!  We had a small gathering of a few close friends and it was just perfect!
