Christmas is just around the corner ….
Now is the time to book your session if you are thinking of sending personalised Christmas Cards or giving prints as Christmas presents to family members. I only have 4 dates set aside for Christmas sessions so book now to avoid disappointment.
Please note that this offer is not valid for Newborn Sessions.
Well as I said before in one of my previous posts that I had only 1 image taken with the OCF. I can’t take credit for the set up as it was done by someone else. The first image was the one taken with the OCF. The remaining shots were taken without flash. There were two light source – the lamp post and a hand held light. Again I cannot take credit for the set up, light and smoke machine (which was awesome!).

There were quite a few models on that shoot so here’s another composite of images.

Well, as promised here are more images from the recent shoot. As you all know I mostly photograph children, very active children! I am used to running and chasing after them, coaxing them to at least look in my direction or basically to just look up! So when I have adult subjects who will not only stay still for me to pose them and just about go around them 360 degrees, I am sometimes literally at a lost of what to do next! It is a novelty for them even though I photograph parents during my family sessions but they are always busy with trying to keep the kids safe or get them to cooperate.
Anyway, enough rambling, enjoy looking at the images.

Recently I tagged along with a group of like minded photographers to practise shooting with off-camera flash (OCF). I don’t use OCF as it is not very practical with children especially toddlers and very active little children. However, it is fun to use and it has been ages since I used OCF. Anyway, I ended up not using OCF bar 1 shot!
As always, I took lots of shots. There are far too many to fit into one post so watch this space for more images from the outing. Here’s the first lot.

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing K for some head shots. It is certainly a pleasant change from photographing energetic toddlers I must say! For once I didn’t have anyone to chase after or have to resort to making funny faces! Thanks K for choosing The Colour In You Photography. Enjoy your new job!
It’s been a while since I’ve taken any decent photos of the girls. I’m in a mood to process some B&W images even though most of my photos are in colours both vivid as well as muted. Well, school holidays are coming up soon so I must endeavour to take some photos of the girls. The trick is to get them to cooperate!
Anyway, here are some not so recent photos but the processing kind of describes my mood in the coldish weather in the not so sunny Brisbane.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting 3 beautiful women and 1 very cute and very fast-on-her-feet little girl with beautiful big brown eyes! She certainly kept us all on our toes. Loves the water and half the time I was afraid she would run straight into the pond!
Here are some images from the session at Mt. Coot-tha Botanical Gardens. Thank you ladies for choosing The Colour In You Photography. I will be in touch when the gallery is ready. In the meantime enjoy these images!

Sand, water, puddles – all the things children love at the beach! This adorable little girl is no exception. Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing little L and her parents at the beach. Just like any children her age, she is inquisitive, very fast on her little feet and utterly adorable! Oh and her eyelashes are to die for!!!
Thanks L and M for the opportunity to photograph your family. Here are a few images from yesterday’s session. I will be in touch soon when the gallery is ready.
