My girls LOVE swinging on the flying fox and there is a really nice one at Montville, a place which they love to visit as well. Today’s weather was really good, no rain for ONCE!!!  It wasn’t hot, nor cold, just the right temperature. It gets a bit cold towards the evening, well cold by Brisbanites’ standards that is!

So after a day that started with swinging on the flying fox and ended yes, swinging on the flying fox again with lollies and chocolates in between, we headed home all happy and a bit tired by then.  Normally we just go straight home and not stop at the any of the look-out points but this evening hubby wanted to stop and so we did.  Little did I know that tonight is the night of the super moon which only occurs once a year apparently!  No wonder there were so many cars around.  Well, I only have my 50mm lens with me and just took a few frames.  I wanted to stop by at Maleny to take some pics but the sun was already setting and we lost the light pretty quickly so I only managed to get a shot of my daughter and the moon.

Anyway, it was a good day. I love this time of year because the weather suits me just fine, not too hot and not too cold.  If it doesn’t rain then it would be just perfect!
